Originally scheduled for 2020, this bilingual musical adaptation included a Venezuelan Violeta and Sebastian, and a Latinx Feste, Maria and Antonio/a. Set against the backdrop of a highly political and polarized Illyria, the play examined the devastating effects of federal policy on migrant families. The play featured a score of twenty-four original songs by Liz Filios, with contributions from Patricio Hidalgo, Ximena Violante and Robi Hager with arrangements by Michael Meketa Sanchez. The score included a wide variety of Latin musical flavors such as samba, songo, corrido, tango nuevo, banda and son jarocho.
DelShakes had previously explored immigration through Shakespeare in 2016 with their workshop, "Nuestro América, Nuestro Shakespeare" in advance of their production of The Comedy of Errors.
In 2022 they presented a free concert version of Twelfth Night O Lo Que Quieras in Rodney Square. Later that year, a community tour brought the piece to libraries, community centers, prisons, and shelters across the state of Delaware. It was developed further and performed again in 2025 as the mainstage production in the DelShakes Summer Festival.
